DNCUSD LCAP Advocacy Meeting

Thursday, April 9, 2015 - 3:30 - 5:00

District Office Boardroom


The purpose of this meeting is for individuals/groups to advocate for specific actions already listed in the LCAP.  The district is implementing a 3 year LCAP plan and may make adjustments to the LCAP expenditures for year 2 based on their measured effectiveness.  The LCAP Coordinating Team, Superintendent's Cabinet, district and site administration, and DELTA will be in invited to the presentations.

Presentation Requirements:

  • Clear description of the existing action and how it will assist in raising student achievement and closing the achievement gap.  List the LCAP goals and actions from the district plan.

  • Description of the metrics and data used to evaluate the success of the action.

    • How is it closing the student achievement gap?

  • Resources needed for implementation of the program.

  • The time allotted for each presentation is 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes for Q & A.
